Starbucks CEO stands by stance on gay marriage

Starbucks' decision to support gay marriage wasn't an economic one, CEO Howard Schultz told a shareholder who expressed concern at the company's annual meeting. "The lens we use to make decisions is the lens of our people. We want to embrace diversity." Schultz cited the 38% return on investments that shareholders received last year, saying the shareholder could "sell your shares of Starbucks. It’s a free country."
