AOL calls its One platform the iTunes of ad tech

AOL has launched One, a digital advertising platform that is designed to work with hundreds of ad-tech companies and offerings, including its new Adap.TV trading platform. The platform is also running tests on TV ad buys and has picked up Interpublic Group's Mediabrands as a customer. "Most significant advertising is going to be as easy as e-commerce," said AOL CEO Tim Armstrong, who compared One to Apple's iTunes.
