Eating small, frequent meals may not boost energy expenditure

Data presented at the Society for Endocrinology meeting showed that small, frequent high-fat meals did not result in better energy expenditure in obese or slimmer participants compared with eating two big high-fat meals daily. Small, frequent meals were associated with higher endotoxin levels, especially in heavier participants, researchers found.
