Cruise lines say they won't cut commissions

Royal Caribbean and Carnival say they won't follow the advice of Goldman Sachs analysts and reduce travel agent commissions in order to cut costs. ASTA President and CEO Kathryn Sudeikis, CTC, said in a response to the Goldman Sachs report that agents are a highly skilled sales force that helps cruise lines better compete against land-based tours.
