Nanoparticles may improve cancer treatment

University of North Carolina researchers say custom-designed nanoparticles may improve cancer treatment with more targeted delivery of drugs. Nanoparticles can be designed at the molecular level to attack specific cancers without harming healthy cells, the scientists say.
