Scientists create pork high in omega-3s

A team of researchers has produced genetically modified pigs whose meat is high in omega-3 fatty acids. Though genetically engineered fruits and vegetables are already in the marketplace, the Food and Drug Administration has yet to approve any biotech animal products.
