Gene research brings new insight into study of schizophrenia

A recent study found that rare and previously undetectable genetic mutations may significantly raise the risk for schizophrenia. Researchers said the findings demonstrate how gene-scanning technology can contribute to the understanding of the biology behind mental disorders.
