CDC: American salt consumption dangerously high

Americans are at greater risk for high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes because they consume twice the recommended amounts of salt, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The study found that almost 70% of adults are in high-risk groups that would benefit from reduced salt intake.
