Science educators praise Texas evolution vote

The Texas Board of Education preliminarily has changed its long-standing science curriculum to no longer mandate classroom mentions of the weaknesses in evolutionary theory. Educators say the Texas decision could influence science textbooks sold elsewhere because of the number of books sold in the state.
