Tax increase on "small-business owner" stirs controversy

Klein says the term "small-business owner" has become a war of words since President Barack Obama announced he planned to raise taxes on households with net income above $250,000. While opponents of the plan say 15% or more of small-business owners will be affected, the Tax Policy Center has a different view. Experts say political language and conflicting claims are causing confusion.
