Hawaii confirms fourth case of necrotizing fasciitis

Hawaiian health officials say four cases of flesh-eating bacterial infections confirmed in the past two months are not related, though all occurred on the island of Kauai. The latest case involves a man who sustained a wound while hunting and might not have sought treatment promptly. State health officials are asking doctors and labs to report other possible cases.
