Muhammad Yunus recognized for microcredit

Muhammad Yunus, the founder of the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, which helped pioneer the concept of microcredit, has been included among the 12 greatest entrepreneurs of our time by CNN and Fortune and Money magazines. Yunus, winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, also is on the board of directors of the United Nations Foundation.
