Students required to submit photo, show ID to take SAT, ACT

Students who apply to take the SAT and ACT college entrance exams administered after Sept. 1 will be required to provide a photo with the application. At the testing site, proctors will compare the submitted photo to the student and the student's photo ID. The photos will be checked again by school counselors and college admissions officials after the tests have been scored. The new security measures are designed to prevent cheating.
