Ban: Mali needs more than peacekeepers

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says a peacekeeping force of 11,200 troops will be needed in Mali to oversee the towns "assessed to be at highest risk." However, a "parallel" force will also be necessary to combat Islamist insurgents, Ban says, which could mean a continued presence for France.
