Pentagon looks for ways to minimize furloughs

The Pentagon wants to reduce the number of furlough days required under sequestration, press secretary George Little said Tuesday. A spending bill signed Tuesday by President Barack Obama reallocates $10 billion to operations and maintenance and reportedly could help the Pentagon avoid furloughs.
