Sears aims at Amazon with e-commerce fulfillment service

Sears is launching an initiative to ship products sold by other online retailers. Along with drawing e-tailers to the existing Sears.com Marketplace, which lets online sellers connect with buyers, the move is intended to challenge Amazon's dominance of the e-commerce sphere. "We have to change the game," explains Sears CEO Edward Lampert. "We not only need to adapt, we need to lead and stay ahead of the curve."
