Vitamin D may boost glucose control in obese youths

Taking high-dose vitamin D supplements daily helped reduce insulin levels and improve vitamin D status in obese vitamin D-deficient children and teens with prediabetes, University of Missouri researchers wrote in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
