Amputee trains to become kung fu instructor

Texas resident Steve Crider, who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident, is training to become an instructor in the Wing Chun style of kung fu so that he can help others with disabilities learn to defend themselves. Last year, Crider founded the Cane and Able Waco Area Amputee Support Group for local amputees. Wing Chun, which emphasizes speed, can be especially useful for smaller people, women and people with disabilities.
