Industry group to set standards for Internet of Things

The Industrial Internet Consortium has been formed by IBM, AT&T, Intel, Cisco Systems and General Electric to create standards related to the Internet of Things. Academic, financial and government parties will also play roles in the organization. "This is how we will make machines, people and data work together," GE's William Ruh said.
