Regulators from energy-producing states meet to discuss quake risks linked to fracking

Regulators from Oklahoma, Kansas, Ohio and Texas met for the first time to discuss the risks of earthquakes related to hydraulic fracturing. Scott Anderson, the Environmental Defense Fund's senior policy adviser, said the goal is to craft standard procedures for monitoring seismic activities and create rules that will prevent earthquakes caused by fracking.
