San Diego Zoo's baby gorilla reunited with mom

This infant's condition has improved enough for her to be returned to her troop.

The baby gorilla born recently at the San Diego Zoo who was treated for a collapsed lung and pneumonia has been successfully reintroduced to her mother, who had a difficult labor and cesarean section, and the pair joined the rest of the zoo's troop on Wednesday. Mom Imani held the unnamed 2-week-old infant tightly, sometimes feeding her, as she walked through the exhibit.
