Study: Generation X is heavier, more prone to diabetes

Australian researchers found that the prevalence of obesity among those born from 1966 to 1980 was 50% higher compared with baby boomers at the same age. Data also showed that Generation X patients were twice as likely as baby boomers to develop diabetes and may be at an increased risk of hypertension and other lifestyle-related diseases. The findings appear in PLOS One.
