Tap to Tweet campaign to expand Foursquare's influence

Foursquare plans to add a Twitter integration feature called Tap to Tweet to its location check-in application next month. Users will be able to promote their check-ins on Twitter, along with hashtags or marketing messages set by brands. The feature helps Foursquare leverage the influence of its 45 million users while expanding its audience to Twitter's 240 million monthly active users.
