Minnesota Announces Record Highway Budget

Minnesota is to spend $1 billion on 250 construction projects this summer, the state's Department of Transportation says. The budget is a result of a one-time spending boost for roads two years ago. The state said reconstruction on the Twin Cities metro area's Route 100 and Wakota Bridge are to be the largest projects.
