OSHA To Increase Workplace Inspections For 2002

OSHA has announced plans to conduct 36,400 workplace inspections in the fiscal year 2002, up from 35,800 in 2001. The agency reportedly is to focus on sites with high injury and illness rates, as well as sites where non-English speakers are at high risk, including construction.
