Morning News Beat: Revamp of FMI show a lesson for retailers

Food Marketing Institute senior vice president Brian Tully tells Morning News Beat this year's complete re-think of the FMI Show can serve as an example to retailers. "One of our roles as an organization ... is to lead," Tully said, adding that FMI is "leading by doing." The 2005 FMI Show, which will take place May 1 to 3 in Chicago, will be divided by product segment areas, including meal solutions, ethnic foods, technology, general merchandise/health and beauty care and a general category.
