Berlin district transforms into hip cultural area

Graffiti and gray facades used to dominate the Berlin district of Brunnenstrasse, but in recent years, the area has become home to a slew of new art galleries, cosmopolitan bars and boutiques for the well-heeled. The developments have spurred others and a number of artists from around the world have discovered the low rent and arty vibe of the area, adding a distinctively international feel.
