Comedy Central has last laugh on humor

While broadcast comedy shows have largely languished of late, ratings for Comedy Central's prime-time shows have increased 12 months in a row, and the all-day schedule is headed toward its best season ever. Shows such as "South Park" and "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" have been the mainstays for Comedy Central, and now parent company Viacom is expected to announce a cell-phone game based on "South Park."
