Saks goes back to the future with new logo

Saks Fifth Avenue's new logo aims to be familiar yet fresh with its updated cursive style that is based on the upscale department store chain's 1973 version of the insignia. Saks, which consulted with Pentagram's Michael Bierut on the logo, hopes this edition has the staying power of other iconic brands.
