NASA restores funding for Mars rovers

NASA on Wednesday reversed an order that would have cut funding for Mars rovers Spirit and Opportunity. "The administrator has unequivocally stated that no rover will be turned off," NASA officials said. The two rovers have explored the Martian landscape for more than four years in search of water.
