New ways to pay for school technology

A lack of available funding is causing school districts to consider new ways to pay for education technology. Four potential sources to consider this year include vendors interested in forming partnerships to get their products into schools. Schools also should consider alternative financing methods, or reach out to local corporations interested in sponsoring a school-technology project. There also are several organizations that will help schools pay for new technology in exchange for their old, unused devices.
