TriWest challenges DOD TRICARE contract decision

TriWest Healthcare Alliance is challenging the Department of Defense's recent decision to award the TRICARE West region contract to UnitedHealth Military & Veterans Services on the grounds it poses a risk to health services. TriWest, which was the losing bidder on the $20.5 billion contract, filed the protest with the Government Accountability Office on Monday.
