ARC supports IATA distribution plan

The Airlines Reporting Corp. is backing a distribution plan by the International Air Transport Association. The IATA plan is based on XML and will allow travel agents to sell ancillary products for airlines. "This will improve the competitive nature of this sales channel and will be of obvious benefit to both travel agents and their customers," the ARC said.
