Laws don't protect reservists from hiring bias, observers say

Discrimination in the job market against National Guard and Reserve members persists despite laws intended to prevent employers from discriminating against individuals on the basis of service. Many reservists become frustrated by fruitless job searches and volunteer for deployments, says Ted Daywalt, CEO of VetJobs. "It's like being caught in a death cycle."
