LinkedIn woos marketers with promise of "indulgent techies"

LinkedIn is wooing tech-brand marketers, saying its users tend to be "indulgent techies" who appreciate and are willing to spend money on new gadgets and technologies. LinkedIn members are twice as likely as nonusers to spend serious money on gadgets, and a quarter of the site's users spent upwards of $2,000 in 2012, the network said.
