South Korea trims growth outlook

South Korea's Ministry of Strategy and Finance dialed back its December forecast of 3% growth for the nation's economy, now projecting only 2.3% growth in 2013 amid a sluggish export market worsened by a plunging yen. "Conditions are also weak for domestic consumption and corporate investment to improve in the near future," the ministry said.
