Taiwan central bank stands pat on interest rates

Taiwan's central bank maintained what it described as its "moderate loose monetary policy," electing for the sixth consecutive quarter not to adjust benchmark interest rates. The bank cited a somewhat brighter prospect for exports due to persistent quantitative easing abroad as well as an improving domestic economy and tame inflation.
