CAP teaches social responsibility, leadership skills through aviation

Civil Air Patrol cadets don't just get trained in aviation; they learn leadership skills and develop a sense of social responsibility. Additionally, many cadets stay with the group long after they turn 21. “[The cadet program] just develops a young man and builds his confidence level up,” said Capt. David Willard, a spokesman for the program who started as a cadet.
