Cocktails go fresh and fruity year-round

Cocktails are trending toward fruity and spicy as a growing number of consumers clamor for fresh, healthier ingredients and transparency about what's in the glass, said Jess Knight, marketing manager for newBrandAnalytics. The trends are in sync with VIP Mixologists, a two-year-old New York City mobile bartending service that specializes in organic cocktails. "We're branching out and doing a lot of creative things, and people are very receptive, especially to classics with organic twists," said founder Adrian Watson.
