Commentary: Fannie-Freddie proposal would worsen situation

The Senate banking committee is poised to vote soon on a bill that would replace Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with a number of new government-sponsored enterprises. The housing-finance system is riddled with issues, but rather than resolve those problems, the bill would start from scratch by developing a system that would exacerbate the situation, writes Josh Rosner, managing director of Graham Fisher.
