Confidentiality policies can't forbid wage discussions

A federal appeals court recently ruled that employers cannot forbid workers from discussing wage information, lawyer Eric Meyer writes. He advises that when writing "confidential" policy language, employers need to ensure "that a reasonable person wouldn't read the policy to preclude discussion of their paycheck."
