Economic recovery helps U.S. dollar rebound against euro

The U.S. dollar has continued a revival against the euro. The move is driven by positive economic news, including a decline in first-time unemployment claims and the Commerce Department's revision of fourth-quarter gross domestic product growth to an annualized 2.6%. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve is considering an interest-rate increase by this time next year if the economic recovery continues.
