The hotel industry has at least two more years of growth ahead of it, and hoteliers should seize the opportunity to drive their profitability, experts said during the opening panel of the 26th Hunter Hotel Investment Conference in Atlanta. Data from TravelClick show committed group business up 4.2% over the previous year, indicating a rebound in the segment, Executive Vice President Tim Hart said. PKF Hospitality Research President Mark Woodworth said hotel demand is expected to improve as business spending and consumer spending continue to boost the economy. "We think next year is going to be one of the best years we've ever seen," Woodworth said.
