Peregrine trustee reaches deal to end JPMorgan dispute

The bankruptcy trustee for Peregrine Financial Group has reached a deal worth more than $15 million with JPMorgan Chase related to the collapse of the financial firm. JPMorgan customers said the bank improperly transferred funds to Peregrine founder Russell Wasendorf Sr. Meanwhile, a bankruptcy judge in Chicago approved a settlement requiring Wasendorf's ex-wife to return $2.85 million to the firm's customers.
