Tweet prompts protest against comedian Colbert

A tweet published by @ColbertReport has drawn criticism for Comedy Central star Stephen Colbert, with Asian-Americans launching a #CancelColbert campaign in protest of what they said was a racially insensitive message. Colbert, tweeting with his personal @StephenAtHome account, said, likely in jest, that he agreed his satirical show should be canceled. "I share your rage," he tweeted.
