Opinion: Tell FTC that do-not-e-mail list is bad idea

The public has until March 31 to tell the FTC whether it should recommend to Congress that a new do-not-e-mail list -- similar to the federal do-not-call list -- should be created. It's important for e-marketers to let the FTC know by this Wednesday that such a list would be fraught with problems, writes columnist Ben Isaacson.
