Study: Raw food vegans thin, healthy

A study comparing a group of vegans who were on a strict raw food diet for years to a group representing Americans who ate an average diet found the raw food vegans were thinner, with an average body mass index of 20.5, and had surprisingly high levels of vitamin D. The strict vegans also had lower levels of proteins linked to chronic disease.
