2007 budget "bright" for transportation spending

The American Road & Transportation Builders Association reports that President George W. Bush's 2007 budget includes several "bright spots" for transportation spending. A guaranteed funding level of $38.24 billion in federal highway investment, $8.88 billion for public transportation and $1.1 billion for the federal rail programs are just some of the highlights.
