Comcast ups broadband speed to match Verizon's

Comcast has upgraded its premium broadband service in Reston, Va., Sarasota, Fla., Fort Wayne, Ind. and Howard County, Md., to offer download speeds up to 16 Mbps. The move is in response to Verizon Communications' new FiOS TV service, which has launched in those four cities.
