Remicade approved for early arthritis treatment in Australia

Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration has approved Remicade for early treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, a disease affecting more than 450,000 people in the country. Until now, Remicade was available to patients only after three years of other treatments, by which time patients often suffered significant joint damage.
